Resumen:
This series is the result of the second edition of Successful English 2 which has been designed to enhance students´ learning process at “Institución Universitaria CESMAG” (Center for Higher Studies Maria Goretti).
Motivation and attitude towards English were the constructs which inspired this edition for being developed in context under the Communicative Language Teaching approach and an eclectic method that scaffolds learning and help teacher conceptualize the complementary roles of form-focused and meaning-focused.
Besides, the methodology searches to reply the current students’ needs of a meaningful learning in a pluricultural and multilingual world.
Each unit has been organized according to the aforementioned needs basing itself on the four basic language skills, reading, writing, listening and speaking in centered student lessons.
These skills have been distributed integrally within the text so as to give a balanced approach to language learning.
